Brooklyn FC x Diaza Collaboration Creative Director & Brand Storytelling Lead As part of Brooklyn FC’s inaugural season in the USL Super League, I had the privilege of leading a creative team to document the team’s return to soccer in Brooklyn—a community eagerly awaiting the revival of professional soccer since the New York Cosmos left. Our role was to tell the compelling story of the season opener, capturing the anticipation, excitement, and rich history of Brooklyn as the team prepared to take the field for the first time. I oversaw a talented group of creatives and photographers, ensuring that every shot we took reflected the energy of the city and the heart of the club, all while staying true to Brooklyn FC’s identity. From the pre-game build-up to the first whistle, we documented the essence of the opening game, highlighting key moments, behind-the-scenes action, and the powerful connection between the team and its fans. In addition to the season opener, our team worked closely with Diaza, the official uniform partner of Brooklyn FC, to create a captivating away kit reveal. We partnered with their marketing department to craft a narrative that not only showcased the sleek new uniform design but also honored Diaza’s brand ethos. Our collaboration ensured that the storytelling around the away kit felt authentic to both Brooklyn FC and Diaza, blending the energy of the club with the craftsmanship of the new kit. This project was a unique opportunity to contribute to the Brooklyn FC story, encapsulating the pride of the community, the excitement of the new franchise, and the collaborative efforts with Diaza to showcase both the team and the brand in a visually stunning, cohesive way.
